remembering Nathan Lyons article

Rebecca Rafferty of City Newspaper asked me to share a memory of photography legend Nathan Lyons after his passing in 2016. I immediately thought of a story from graduate school at Visual Studies Workshop: "Nathan Lyons made me hate photography — and fall in love with it all over again."

I rode around inside Metabolic Studio’s Liminal Camera and was asked by the George Eastman Museum to share my experience in a blog post to complement their Silver and Water exhibition.

explore rochester feature

Steve Carter of Explore Rochester invited me to take over their Instagram feed for a week. I went with a "water" theme and shared some of my fave spots in Rochester, NY. By far my most popular post was one of my photos of High Falls - one of the most photographed spots in the city.
