Hello! My name is Megan Charland and I'm an interdisciplinary artist based in Rochester, NY with 15+ years working in the visual arts field. I believe in the power of art.

I have an MFA in Visual Studies from Visual Studies Workshop, a graduate certificate in Arts Administration from The College at Brockport, and a BFA in Fine Art Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. My secondary interest to visual arts is social practice and the ability of participatory art practices to effect change.

My studio is in The Hungerford building. I primarily work with photography, collage, and zines. Want to see what I'm currently working on? Stop by my next open studio!

I also occasionally teach social media and zine workshops throughout Western New York and I'm currently booking dates through August 2018. Please contact me for more information.

FYI: my cats' names are Ryley and Chloe.
